LS Industries Airless steel shot blasting system with 36" wide x 72" tall material feed envelope.

Description:

LS Industries model STRB3672 automated pass through airless steel shot blaster. This machine is designed to blast clean the exterior surfaces of a continuous flow of structural steel shapes using steel shot as an abrasive media.

• Main blast cabinet constructed from 1/4" manganese alloy.
• Replaceable 3/8"manganese wear plate liner in all areas of direct abrasive impact.
• Four (4) LS TurboShot™ impeller wheels; two overhead, two underthrow.
• Each LS TurboShot™ impeller driven by a Balder TEFC 20 HP motor.
• Each impeller equipped with eight replaceable impeller blades. Impellers enclosed in wheelhouses lined with replaceable wear plate.
• Sealed 2" impeller bearings provide superior resistance to abrasive impingement. Abrasive feed system including augers, collection hoppers, and a bucket elevator to feed abrasive to the upper wheels. .. Customer supplied monorail.
• 96" to bottom of part.
• Vestibules constructed from 10 ga. steel on either end of the blast cabinet are equipped with seals to prevent the escape of abrasive.
• Catch auger extends 96" from the exit end of the blast cabinet to return abrasive to the blast cabinet.
• Access door allows entry to blast cabinet for inspection and maintenance.
• Access panels allow inspection and maintenance of auger and elevator mechanisms. o Electrical box 1 control panel positioned on blast cabinet.
• Single point electrical hook-up. o Wired for 3/440/60 power.
• NEMA 12 electrical enclosures.
• Cutler - Hammer high voltage components used throughout.
• Digital ammeter allows monitoring of abrasive level within the blaster during operation.
• 20 horsepower jet pulse, cartridge dust collector.
• Full load of abrasive media is provided.
• Operations manual, maintenance guide, and wiring diagram is included.
• Lifting hooks allow easy unloading of the blaster.
• Estimated full load amp draw: 150
• Bucket elevator is 7.5 horsepower.
